Business – Who We Are:
D.P. Industries Inc. can be traced to it's
roots as Paine Overhead Door in Los
Angeles,CA. Paine Overhead Door
specialized in Residential and
Commercial doors. David Lynn Paine
founded the company after moving to
California hoping for sunny weather and
a brighter future in 1944. He owned and
operated the business until 1969 when
the current owner, his son David R
Paine, took over the company after
retiring from the U.S. Air Force. Later in
1969, D.P. Industries was born to be the
partner company to Paine Overhead
Door to focus on aircraft hanger doors
and large industrial/commercial doors
while Paine Overhead Door continued
installing residential and smaller
commercial doors.

D.P. Industries built it's first aircraft
hangar door in 1983, an accordion style
door. Paine Overhead Door, as a
working business name for residential
and small commercial doors, was sold in
1985 so that the focus of the owner could
be directed to D.P. Industries and
aircraft hangar doors as well as large
industrial doors The owner moved his
family to central California and
established a new facility to operate
D.P. Industries away from the
environment of the big city. D.P.
Industries began focusing on ground
rolling side sliding doors as it's main
product in order to serve the larger
hangar requirements. Along the way,
D.P. Industries became specialists in
partial canopy doors, free standing door
systems, moveable buildings and
blast/bunker/munitions storage doors.

In 2007, D.P. Industries incorporated,
creating D.P. Industries Inc. D.P.
Industries Inc. continues to operate as a
business focused on creating the best
doors and moveable structures
available. Concentrating on low cost of
ownership throughout the life of the door
system by limiting maintenance
requirements, D.P. Industries Inc. door
systems are praised by their long term
owners. With our main customers being
the U.S. Armed Forces and the
Department of Defense, D.P. Industries
Inc. has developed our systems to be the
most reliable they can be, ensuring the
door system will work when it absolutely
has to.
